| It's time to plant the oysters. Last year's babies are just a bit bigger and are ready to make their way in the real world. Albeit the protected waters of the Magothy River. Many of the Magothy's MGO growers are planting their own oysters on the reef designated by the Magothy River Association. In some cases, MRA volunteers are speading the little ones on the reef. With a little luck, many of these oysters will grow to sizeable adults and some will be selected for measurement in a couple of years by the MRA Dive Team in conjunction with UNSA volunteer divers. |
